SHINGLES2_TU_C_^_TUESDAY

Tim Cloosterman picks plastic, paper and wood out of a pile of shingles that was dumped at Crutchall Resource Recycling in Grand Rapids. The shingles then go into a crushing machine and are processed into raw materials used in producing asphalt for roads and parking lots. Crutchall is the first company in the state to be granted a permit to process tear-off shingles into raw materials.
